Staff Spotlight - Ronan Gaisford Carter

A big, warm welcome to Ronan who joined us this week as our new Junior Consultant.

10 years ago, what did you think you would be doing now?

Saw myself as being a professional rugby player. Sadly, a bad head knock ended that dream.

What quote do you live your life by?

Every day is a school day.

What’s the one thing you couldn’t live without?

Family and friends.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Meet up with friends, play or watch various sports.

What are you listening to/reading/watching at the moment?

I am currently listening to the match of the day top 10 podcast.

I am currently watching The Last of Us.

What’s your previous working experience?

I’ve done various jobs over the years. I got my first job at 15, working in a pub and a care home in my village. My first 'proper' job was as a teaching assistant at Malmesbury Secondary School which I stayed at for nearly two years before going to university. My previous job before joining Stimulus Consulting was as a physiologist for Kent and Medway Prehab team, which involved aiding cancer patients with their treatments.

What’s your favourite thing about life at Stimulus?

Well I’m very very new to the company so can’t say too much at the moment but everything so far has been great. So probably my favourite thing about life at Stimulus is the people have been so welcoming.

What are you excited about during the next year at Stimulus?

I’m excited about getting to know everyone involved in the company as well as settling in to my role whilst following my projected pathway.
